Great interest in “Industrial Heat Pump Village

The “Industrial Heat Pump Village” during the three days of Chillventa 2008 from 15-17 October is attracting great interest: Well-known companies like Alpha-InnoTec, Glen Dimplex, IDM-Energiesysteme, Johnson Controls Systems, KWT, Ochsner, Rheingas and Stiebel Eltron have already registered (as at 7 August 2008).

But heat pumps also play a key role at Chillventa itself: Well over 30 exhibitors specifically present heat pumps and their applications in commerce, industry and heat recovery, including companies like ClimateMaster, DAIKIN, Hitachi, Alfred Kaut, McQuay, Mitsubishi Electric, MTA, robatherm, Stulz, thermea.Energiesysteme and Waterkotte. All the manufacturers of heat pump components are also represented.

“The Industrial Heat Pump Village is based on the following idea,” explains Gabriele Hannwacker, Exhibition Director of Chillventa: “The Bundesverband WärmePumpe (BWP) e.V. and the Chillventa exhibition combine a large potential, as both BWP and the companies exhibiting at Chillventa possess many years of experience in the field of industrial heat pumps. We are using this in the village to give industrial heat pumps a fitting platform for the first time.”

Chillventa is the home exhibition for all suppliers of components for industrial heat pumps and Nürnberg has provided a neutral platform for the industry get-together “Heat Pumps for Experts” organized jointly by DKV (Deutscher Kälte- und Klimatechnischer Verein e.V.) and NürnbergMesse since 2007. BWP, the German Heat Pump Association, represents the interests of everyone from planner and plant assembler to manufacturer.

BWP and NürnbergMesse have now launched the Industrial Heat Pump Village, an area of some 400 m2 where exhibitors, professional associations and organizations have the possibility of presenting their products and association aims to their major target groups. The village therefore provides ideal opportunities for presentations and personal talks. Besides the information stands, the forum in the Industrial Heat Pump Village offers short presentations and panel discussions on current issues. The forum topics are supplemented by the supporting programme at Chillventa, which takes place in CCN Ost: The International Heat Pump Symposium organized by the Deutscher Kälte- und Klimatechnischer Verein e.V. (DKV) takes place on 14 October, the day before the exhibition.
