With sales of € 44.8 million and net earnings of € 2.7 m, in 2008 Palexpo notched up its best operating result since 1982. A total of around 1.5 million attendees visited 6,200 exhibitors, and the economic impact for the Canton of Geneva was estimated at roughly € 380 m. With its new legal structure Palexpo SA is paving its way into the future. Towards this end an ambitious refurbishment and modernisation project entitled Vision 20XX has been launched, for which investment of € 66.3 m is earmarked.
