For the first time in Ukraine, professional tourism exhibition will present only national tourism products for internal and foreign markets. Such events long ago became a regular fixture in the countries with inbound tourism being one of priority economic areas. For Ukraine, with its rich natural and recreational resources, abundance of historical and cultural memorials, favorable climate, advantageous geographical location, this area stands to turn into a powerful industry, a source of considerable and stable earnings for the national budget, an instrument of ongoing development of adjoining industries and visited regions, establishment of new work places, improvement of the country’s image and its integration into the world community.

In such conditions, Visit Ukraine Exhibition appeals for stimulating the organized internal and inbound tourism flows and becoming a site for business contacts between the national tourism industry providers, its cooperation with other spheres of cultural and economic activity in Ukraine, comprehensive and bright presentation of Ukraine’s tourism potential for foreign consumers – tourism providers and agents from EU and CIS countries, USA, Japan, China, countries of Persian Gulf, and representatives of Ukrainian tourism business. In addition, representatives of main corporate clients will be invited as professional visitors.

 

The leading tourist centers of the state – from the capital to small historic towns of the Central and Western Ukraine, sea and mountain resorts, historical and cultural wildlife sanctuaries and national natural parks – are planned to be presented within the framework of the forum exposition. A special emphasis shall be laid on presentation of thematic varieties of tourism and recreation:

The events included in the business program of Visit Ukraine will be the place for business communication of participants, in particular:

·         Conference «Formation of the National System of Tourism Information Centers»;

·         Conference «Global Experience of Cities Development as Tourism Centers» for heads of local authorities, central and local executive bodies for tourism-related matters, local professional tourism associations and investors;

·         Conference for actual issues of children and youth tourism development.

Ukrainian Youth Festival «Dyvosvit» will take place in the framework of the Exhibition-Forum Visit Ukraine.

Organization of the Exhibition-Forum Visit Ukraine will become the final stage of the 8th annual forum “Industry of Hospitality”. On the eve, on October 26-28, 2008 Rus Hotel will host the series of professional conferences for hoteliers and restaurant-keepers, specialized conference and investment projects exhibition for «Euro-2012». The entire range of exhibition events and conferences in the framework of the Annual Forum “Industry of Hospitality” will be held by resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Tourism and Resort Service.
