One of the many highlights of this year s spoga+gafa supporting programme will be the 17th IVG Messe Talk discussion event on Monday, 1st September 2008 at 6:00 p.m. The guest speaker will be Oswald
Metzger, former speaker of the Green Party for
budgetary policy in the German Bundestag. The subject of Metzger s presentation, Straight talk what state assistance can I expect in the future? , promises to make Monday an exciting day at the
trade fair. The IVG Messe Talk event will take place
in the Konrad Adenauer Saal as part of spoga+gafa, the International Trade Fair for Sports, Camping and Garden Lifestyle and the International Garden Trade Fair, running from 31st August to 2nd
September.
Dubbed the Green revolutionary after leaving his party and joining the conservative Christian Democratic Party (CDU) in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Oswald Metzger is a herald of political
constellations to come, such as the recent successful
coalition between the Greens and the CDU in Hamburg. The Industrial Association of Garden Equipment Manufacturers (IVG) looks forward to hosting Metzger, whose presentation promises to be
entertaining as usual, with a focus on future planning for
private individuals and companies. Afterwards, as in past years, trade and industry representatives will have an opportunity to exchange ideas and engage in discussions at the sector meeting in the
Rheinsaal, Congress Centre North.
